From August 11 to 15, 2025, the Polytechnic College of Engineering and Technology (CTECH) officially inaugurated the Orientation Week for all first-year students of Cohort 16 (Phase 1).
Orientation Week is a vital induction program designed to help new CTECHers quickly adapt to their academic environment while equipping them with the essential foundations before the start of the school year.

Throughout the week, freshmen were introduced to and updated on fundamental yet highly important information, including state policies, legal regulations, students’ rights and responsibilities, as well as academic regulations, rewards, and disciplinary measures. Issues of campus safety and digital self-protection skills were also integrated into the sessions to raise students’ awareness of personal responsibility in both academic and community life.

Beyond providing foundational knowledge, the week also offered new students the opportunity to gain deeper insights into CTECH’s practice-oriented training model. Key student support services, functional departments, scholarship opportunities, internships, and post-graduation career prospects were clearly presented, helping freshmen to chart an early course for their academic and professional development.
At the same time, a range of experiential and interactive activities—including exchanges with cultural, artistic, sports, and volunteer clubs—brought a vibrant and cohesive atmosphere. These engagements encouraged Cohort K16 students to explore their potential, develop soft skills, and prepare to take part in major campus events throughout the year.

The Orientation Week concluded with valuable experiences that opened a new chapter of energized and inspired learning for CTECH’s K16 freshmen. With proactivity, discipline, and creativity as their core values, CTECH’s newest generation is poised to leave their mark and further strengthen the institution’s reputation for academic excellence and quality training.
