CTECH Expands International Cooperation with Kyungnam College of Information and Technology (South Korea)
Over the past weekend, the Polytechnic College of Engineering and Technology (CTECH) participated in the Korea Study Abroad Seminar hosted by Kyungnam College of Information and Technology (KIT) at the Sheraton Hanoi Hotel. At the event, the two institutions officially signed a memorandum of understanding on student exchange, marking a significant step forward in CTECH’s international integration strategy. The signing of the MoU opens the door for CTECH students to participate in study abroad programs, internships, and credit transfer pathways in South Korea. Both parties also committed to strengthening academic exchanges and jointly organizing collaborative training programs, thereby creating broad international learning corridors for students in key disciplines such as Information Technology, Mechanical Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Business Administration, and Nursing — all fields in high demand both in South Korea and globally.Founded in 1965, Kyungnam College of Information and Technology (KIT) is one of South Korea’s most prestigious and long-established colleges. It was the first college established in Busan and is now the largest vocational institution in South Gyeongsang Province.KIT operates two modern campuses in Busan: the Centum Campus in Haeundae District — the city’s technology and financial hub — and the Naengjeong Campus in Sasang District. With a training philosophy focused on practical experience and meeting the needs of the high-quality labor market, KIT stands out with programs in Information Technology, Digital Engineering, Automation, Electronics, Telecommunications, and Media. The college collaborates with over 300 businesses — including major corporations like Hyundai, Samsung, and Kia — ensuring one of the highest graduate employment rates in the country.KIT is also well known for its attractive scholarship opportunities for international students, its modern dormitory system, and a faculty team composed of leading technology experts. Many KIT professors have studied abroad, contributed to major technological projects, and served as consultants to high-tech companies. The cooperation event between CTECH and KIT marks a new milestone in expanding CTECH’s international network, not only enhancing the quality of training but also enabling students to access modern learning environments and integrate into the global labor market. With this strategy, CTECH affirms its unwavering commitment to innovation and global outreach, aiming to empower students for a successful professional future — especially in the increasingly internationalized landscape of education. In the coming period, CTECH will continue working with KIT to realize the signed agreements, organize orientation sessions, and support application procedures for students aspiring to study in South Korea. This represents a special opportunity for CTECHers — young individuals with the dream to conquer the world through knowledge and professional competence.
