On June 14, 2025, a delegation of students from the Faculty of Information Technology at the Polytechnic College of Engineering and Technology (CTECH) undertook a meaningful field trip and practical training at LG Display Vietnam Hai Phong Co., Ltd. (LGDVH) — one of the world’s leading manufacturers of OLED and LCD displays.

Welcoming the students, representatives from LGDVH provided an overview of the global LG Group, its outstanding technological achievements, as well as internship and career opportunities specifically tailored for CTECH students.
The visit offered students a real-world experience as they toured LG’s state-of-the-art facilities, including office spaces, dormitories, training centers, recreation areas, and the canteen — all of which reflect the company’s professional working environment and distinct corporate culture.
More than just a visit, the training trip to LGDVH served as a source of career inspiration.
Students had the chance to observe cutting-edge technological processes firsthand and gain a deeper understanding of display products used in modern electronic devices — effectively bridging classroom theory with real-world industrial practices.

Following the visit, many students shared positive impressions and expressed their aspiration to return to LGDVH in the future, either as interns or full-time employees.
“This experience motivates me to keep learning, practicing, and improving my professional skills,” one second-year student remarked.
With a total investment of over USD 4.65 billion, an area of 40.5 hectares, and nearly 25,500 employees, LGDVH — a member of South Korea’s LG Display Group — is currently one of the largest display manufacturers in the world.
In addition to its manufacturing operations, LGDVH places special emphasis on developing young talent and actively collaborates with educational institutions in Vietnam, with CTECH being among its top-priority partners.
According to CTECH representatives, the trip is part of the school's strategic direction: building a training model that tightly connects enterprises, students, and the institution itself.
With an extensive network of corporate partnerships, CTECH is committed to providing students with real-world learning environments that strengthen technical proficiency and future readiness.
In the coming time, CTECH will continue to organize additional training and internship programs at major corporations to enhance students’ hands-on capabilities, guide their career paths, and build a solid foundation from the very beginning of their academic journey.
